THE RESCURE

The rescue happened while we were on a holiday in a beach in the Caribe an last summer. It was really amazing and I was lucky to get a photo of it.

I was with my family and friends and we were a ship. We made a trip and we saw two people who went into the water and crossed a shark to his left. The rescuer was watching to the helicopter and soon at was there to help them.

Nothing happened but it was very scary!

A GOOD WEEKEND

Hi Laura,

I visited my cousins in Girona last weekend.

 I arrived at their flat on Friday afternoon. First we had dinner and then I whatching TV. The film was very cool and interesting! The next day we played video games, I had a great time! After that we ate in a very horrible restaurant but it was very fun. Finally I went back to my home on Sunday night.

MY IDEAL HOME

Here we are in my ideal home. It’s a very big house near the centre of town. It’s quiet. It’s got two bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a big kitchen, a living room, and a garden. The garden has got a very big swimming pool.

On an ideal afternoon in my ideal home we’re all here. My mum and dad are sitting in the living room. They’re reading. My brother is in his bedroom. He’s watching TV. I’m in the garden, and I’m listening to music.

My favorite room is the living room. It’s got a big sofa and a really modern TV. I like this room because I can relax and watch DVDs in it.

WRITE A BLOG ABOUT AN EXPEDITION TO NEW YORK

Monday, 15th of July,
I'm going to go to an amazing expedition next month. I'm really exited, because I'm going to visit New York city, with my best friend. We will visit the art museums.
I must take my mobile, my laptop, so I can continue this blog, bag and other things.

Monday, 1th of August,
Here I am in New York City. Here it is summer, so the weather is very hot.
We're staying in a hotel. Im taking photos to differents buildings, for example The Empire State or another important buildings and museums.
The most important reason for this travel is to visit and learn about the culture, monuments and Museums of the City. One of the most important Museums of Art, is the Metropolitan Museum. This Museum is very important to me, because I like Art very much.

Tuesday, 5th of August,
This is me and my friend. We're studying ths History of the artwork of this Museum. Tomorrow we will do a work about the artwork that we learned. I must take my pencilcase and a lot of papers.

A PROFILE OF A FAMOS PERSON: MIREIA BELMONTE

Mireia Belmonte’s was born on 10th November 1990 in Badalona, Catalunya. She’s 1metre 70 centimetres and average build, she’s blue eyes and she’s got long, straight fair hair.

Belmonte’s started swimming when she was three or four years old, and she became professional when she was only fifteen. She went to the olympics very young and began to win many tests.

In 2008 Belmonte made the world record with 200 and 400 styles.

AN EMAIL ABOUT MY SCHOOL

Hi, I’m very happy that you’re coming to stay with us next month. Here’s some information about my timetable and my school. Shool starts at 9 o’clock, finish at half past one and start again at 3 o’clock and finish at 5 o’clock. There are six lessons every day, the lessons are 60 minutes. All subjects are compulsory and less communicative competence and KET. There are extra activities in after school, for example swimming, music, hip-hop...I usually have lunch in the canteen. We eat what the menu says school.

ABOUT THE HISTORY OF LONDON

 London is a city in the wouth of England people first lived in London in Roman times. It’s name was Londinium and only 45.000. Now the population is about 7,5 milion people.

 

There are places in London with the name of important people in history like Trafalgar Square ( Battle of trafalgar). Victoria Street (Queen Victoria).

The people of London are called Londoner or “Cockneys”. Famos Londeners include Charlie Chaplin (actor), Arthur Conan Doye (writer of Sherlock Homes stories).

The animal in this  photo is polar bear. Polar bears usually eat seals.

Females have two cubs every four or five years. Adults polar bears are 750 kilos. They can swim moret han 150 kilometres. Polar bear live in the Arctic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They live and hunt on the ice.                                                                                                           

Pollution is problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas. The Arctic ice is smaller because the climate is changing.

The animal in this photo is a tiger. Tigers usually eat zebra and giraffe.    

Tigers live in forests and pastures of Eastern and South-West Asia and India, North Korean, South Korean, Laos, Sumatra, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Bhutan, Vientam, Russia and Nepal. Adults are usually fiercely territorial. The tigresses may have a territory of 20 km 2. This species is endangered. In Asia there are only about 3,200 tigers compared to the 100,000 there were twenty years.

About Banyoles

Banyoles is a town in the north east of Catalonia. It’s got a population of about 18.000 and in summer there are a lot of tourists.

I like Banyoles because it is nice, quiet, clean and it has got a very beautiful lake. My favourite places are the lake, the swimming centre and Les Estunes. There are a buses and coaches in Banyoles but there aren’t any trains.

Banyoles is 23,4 kilometres from Girona.
